The Thermokey plant, the Friulian company specialized in heat exchangers based in Rivarotta di Teor (UD) continues to innovate and takes root in the territory to have a synergistic effect on the economic and social well-being of the territory and on the quality of life of its 222 employees, of which 81 are employees and 141 are workers and direct production technicians.

In recent days the restaurant has been inaugurated with a “chef” who cooks directly in the new and fully equipped kitchen built inside the restaurant spaces, and with menus attentive to health, supply chains, seasonality and favoring 0 km and organic products, thanks to the collaboration with Hospes.

The investment in the small restaurant and the important contribution to the meals for all the people who work in the company are part of a robust path of innovation of the plant: only in the last 5 years  the company has invested more than 14 million euros.

In addition to new machinery, factory and processes digitization, new proprietary product platforms, there have been also significant investments in energy efficiency: relamping with LED technology and a new 500 kW photovoltaic system installed on the roof of one of the warehouses with the aim intermediate for 2023 to reduce the use of electricity from non-renewable sources by 60%.

The operation confirms Thermokey’s deep bond with the territory: year after year the company continues to increase projects and investments in favour of the quality of corporate life and a greater work-life balance.

“In recent years – says the CEO Giuseppe Visentini – our company has started a process of transformation of the Rivarotta di Teor headquarters aiming at making it an increasingly innovative, technological and sustainable hub to improve people’s lives. Step by step, we want our 32,500 square meters covered space on a 81,500 square meters plot of land to become a beautiful, innovative and efficient place where we can grow and feel good and where solutions are designed and produced to make our world more sustainable”

The company continues its growth path: in 2022 Thermokey achieved consolidated revenue of 49.6 million (17.35% Y/Y) and an annual growth rate (CAGR 3 years) almost 20%. Already at the end of February, the order book for 2023 exceeded 34 million with an average daily acquisition, since the beginning of the year, of over 250,000 euros. Growth also means employment and local roots: today Thermokey has 19 open positions: 7 for offices and 12 for production.

Growth also means participating in challenging projects destined to bring about great changes and to leave a mark by contributing to a more sustainable future. From this point of view ThermoKey, thanks to its effective and tailor-made cooling solutions, is involved in various innovative projects such as the Bologna Technopole, which houses the new Datacentre of the European Meteorological Center (ECMWF), the Neutral Beam Test Facility (NBTF) of Padua, essential for the realization of ITER, one of the most ambitious energy projects in the world, and Refhyne, the most important green hydrogen plant in Europe.
