Thermokey training path for production growth

The HR project supporting Thermokey’s development has reached its 4th edition

The growth in orders recorded over recent months—particularly in the microchannel segment—has confirmed the market’s strong appreciation for Thermokey’s solutions. However, rapid growth also requires solid organizational choices. Keeping pace with market expansion means making well-balanced decisions that enable the sustainable development of the company’s structure, strengthening production capacity by investing in the right people, in the right way.

This is the context in which TK Academy was created: Thermokey’s HR project designed to support the company’s growth through a structured training and onboarding programme for new hires.

A project designed to train, not just onboard

Now in its fourth edition, TK Academy consists of a two-week programme (approximately 80 hours) that combines classroom training with hands-on, on-the-job technical mentoring.
The objective is clear: to enable new hires to enter the Thermokey world quickly and with full awareness, gaining a solid understanding of processes, values and operational standards. The result is a more robust, effective onboarding process, fully aligned with real production needs.

The first editions have already demonstrated the effectiveness of the programme. TK Academy has significantly contributed to increasing the retention rate of new hires, thanks to a guided pathway and a gradual introduction to the working environment and corporate culture.

“TK Academy is a tool that is proving to be effective. It allows us to be more efficient and more effective in selecting candidates. It requires an investment in terms of time and resources, both for classroom and on-the-job training, but it significantly increases the likelihood of choosing the right people from the start. Being fast and effective in adapting our production capacity is a critical factor. In addition, the project enhances our external visibility, making Thermokey more attractive.” (Luca Favero, COO ThermoKey)

Investing in people to support growth

One of the distinctive features of TK Academy is the direct involvement of key company figures from both production and office functions, who work together to guide new hires and provide a comprehensive, concrete view of what it means to work at Thermokey.
Born as a direct response to market growth, TK Academy has established itself as a strategic tool to support the company’s development, enhancing internal know-how and building the skills needed for the future.
