At ThermoKey, we’ve always seen universities and research institutions as key partners for growth<\/strong>, working together to push the boundaries of our industry.<\/p>\n

In collaboration with the University of Udine<\/strong><\/a>, we actively participate in a range of cutting-edge projects and activities. These initiatives aim to strengthen the positioning of company as a leader in HVAC, Refrigeration and Data Center Cooling, with a focus on sustainability, performance, and energy efficiency.<\/p>\n

ThermoKey maintains close collaboration with experts from the Polytechnic Department of Engineering and Architecture (DPIA)<\/a><\/strong> of the University of Udine. This department is specialized in structural integrity, corrosion, metallurgy, thermofluid dynamics, and process engineering.<\/p>\n

Inside the collaboration with UniUD<\/span><\/h4>\n

Innovation and sustainability are at the core of our efforts, which is why we engage the university’s departments to conduct experimental studies<\/strong>, advanced CFD and FEM simulations<\/strong>, and create custom routines.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Among these, significant is a study on corrosion conducted in collaboration with Professor Lorenzo Fedrizzi<\/a>‘s<\/em> team, focusing on the use and potential aggressiveness of fluids<\/strong> with varying glycol percentages on aluminum alloys.<\/p>\n

Additionally, our collaboration with Professor Stefano Savino<\/em><\/a> and his department has been highly productive. This is leading to the development of proprietary calculation engines for microchannel heat exchangers (now integrated into the TK Desk web service). Within these, we find our innovative and patent-pending projects such as the Multi System Dual Flow<\/strong> and the 3D Distributor.​<\/strong><\/p>\n

Furthermore, several students have had the opportunity to tackle real-world industrial challenges by choosing ThermoKey to launch their careers.<\/p>\n

Recently, three talented individuals have joined our team. PhD candidate Milan Federico<\/em>, researching the durability and related aspects of microchannel heat exchangers<\/strong><\/a> under the supervision of Professor Enrico Salvati<\/a>.<\/em> In addition, two more young talents have chosen our company for their internship, process engineering intern Niccolò Scussolin<\/em> and product engineering intern Odeta Shyti<\/em>. These experiences are allowing them to apply their skills in a dynamic and impactful environment.​<\/p>\n
