{"id":33523,"date":"2022-05-10T10:35:17","date_gmt":"2022-05-10T08:35:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thermokey.com\/?p=33523"},"modified":"2022-05-26T13:24:43","modified_gmt":"2022-05-26T11:24:43","slug":"organic-rankine-cycle-enogia","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.thermokey.com\/en\/references\/organic-rankine-cycle-enogia\/","title":{"rendered":"B\u00e9ziers incinerator &#8211; Organic Rankine Cycle ENOGIA"},"content":{"rendered":"<section class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \"-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional\/\/EN\" \"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/REC-html40\/loose.dtd\">\n<html><body><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<h1 style=\"font-size: 1pt;\"><span style=\"opacity: 0.0;\">Organic Rankine Cycle ENOGIA<\/span><\/h1>\n<p><span class=\"hotkey-layer preview-overlay is-preview-sidebar-visible\">Wherever there are material and goods manufacturing processes, there are unit swhich, when operating, produce waste heat (unused heat streams) released by radiation, cooling fluids, exhaust gases or air.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Sources of waste heat in industry can be furnaces, waste water from washing processes, drying or cooling processes, but also&nbsp; refrigeration systems or the exhaust air from production plants.<\/p>\n<p>The industrial market is the one with the highest proportion of recoverable heat, although it is not the one characterized by the greatest availability of waste heat.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_empty_space][vc_column_text]<span class=\"hotkey-layer \"><span class=\"hotkey-layer preview-overlay is-preview-sidebar-visible\">The Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) is a key technology in this regard, which by a system based on a closed-cycle thermodynamic cycle, allows to recover part of the waste heat produced by industrial processes by the&nbsp; transformation of high temperatures into electricity, which is then reused for the same production site.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h2 style=\"font-size: 0.5pt;\"><span style=\"opacity: 0.0;\">The Organic Rankine Cycle ORC is a key technology in this regard, which by a system based on a closed-cycle thermodynamic cycle, allows to recover part of the waste heat produced by industrial processes by the transformation of high temperatures into electricity, which is then reused for the same production site.<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space][\/vc_column][\/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]<span class=\"hotkey-layer \"><span class=\"hotkey-layer preview-overlay is-preview-sidebar-visible\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/enogia.com\/en\/home\/\">ENOGIA<\/a><\/strong> is a French company founded in 2009 specialised in designing and manufacturing ORC systems (low&nbsp; temperature ORC systems -between 80 and 200&deg;C).<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hotkey-layer \"><span class=\"hotkey-layer preview-overlay is-preview-sidebar-visible\">The company turned to ThermoKey for the cooling of the ORC which enhances the exhaust fumes of the B&eacute;ziers incinerator, in the South of France. This specific incinerator has the purpose of eliminating the dehydrated sludge deriving from a purification plant.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"hotkey-layer \"><span class=\"hotkey-layer preview-overlay is-preview-sidebar-visible\">To ensure the maximum operation of the ORC system, a ThermoKey Power-J Drycooler model <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thermokey.com\/en\/products\/dry-coolers\/power-j-dry-coolers\/\">JWQ2380BZ5 \/ 02W3EF (EC)<\/a><\/strong> with a capacity of 800 kW was installed.
